Recumbent Bike

Seated back-supported cycling; the easiest cardio machine on the lower back.

How to do it

Setup

Seat set so the knee stays soft at full extension, back against the rest.

Steps

  1. Pedal smoothly against the resistance.
  2. Keep the whole foot working through the circle.
  3. Log minutes and calories.

Common mistakes

Seat too close: the knees fold past comfort. Toes-only pedaling: push through the whole foot. Resistance at zero: even the easiest machine needs SOME load to count.

Breathing

Easy and steady.
