Plank Leg Lift Mountain Climber
From a high plank, drive one knee to the chest, then sweep the same leg back and up behind the hips; the plank stays level.
How to do it
Setup
High plank, hands under the shoulders, body in one line from head to heels.
Steps
- Drive one knee in toward the chest.
- Sweep that leg straight back and lift it above hip height.
- Bring the knee back in without touching the foot down; switch legs after the set.
Common mistakes
Hips bouncing up as the knee comes in: keep them level with the shoulders. Lower back arching as the leg lifts: lift only as high as the back stays flat. Shoulders drifting behind the hands: keep them over the wrists.
Breathing
Steady throughout; never held.
