Plank Jump
From a high plank, jump both feet in toward the hands and back out again, the hands staying planted.
How to do it
Setup
High plank, hands under the shoulders, feet together.
Steps
- Hop both feet in toward the hands, knees tucked under the chest.
- Land softly on the balls of the feet, the shoulders over the hands.
- Hop the feet back out to the plank.
Common mistakes
Shoulders rocking back behind the hands: keep them stacked over the wrists. Landing flat and loud: quiet landings on the balls of the feet. Hips sagging when the feet land back: brace for the plank before they touch.
Breathing
Fast steady rhythm.
