Pike Push-Up
Hips high in an inverted V, lower the crown of the head toward the floor; the step before handstand push-ups.

How to do it
Setup
Hips high in an inverted V, hands shoulder-width, heels reaching down.
Steps
- Lower the crown of the head toward the floor between the hands.
- Elbows track back-ish, not flared wide.
- Press back to the pike.
Common mistakes
Hips dropping into a push-up: the V holds; this is a SHOULDER press. Head reaching forward: crown to the floor, near the hands. Short range: head touches or it is a partial.
Breathing
Inhale lowering, exhale pressing.
