Palms Out Forearm Stretch

Fingers laced in front of the chest, the palms turn out and the arms push straight forward until the insides of the forearms stretch.

How to do it

Setup

Standing tall, fingers laced in front of the chest, elbows bent.

Steps

  1. Turn the palms out, away from you.
  2. Push the arms straight forward at shoulder height until the forearms stretch.
  3. Hold and breathe, then bend the elbows and release the hands.

Common mistakes

Letting the fingers slip apart: keep them laced so the palms stay turned out. Shrugging as the arms reach: shoulders stay low. Locking the elbows hard: straighten them without snapping.

Breathing

Slow and even through the hold.
