Mountain Climber Cross Kick
From a high plank, drive one knee under the body and kick that leg through to the opposite side, then bring it back to the plank.
How to do it
Setup
High plank, hands under the shoulders, feet hip-width.
Steps
- Drive one knee in and thread the leg across under the body.
- Let the hips turn with it; the hands stay planted.
- Bring the leg back to the plank and switch sides.
Common mistakes
Hands lifting as the hips turn: both palms stay pressed down. Kicking so hard the plank collapses: reach only as far as you control. Rushing back to the plank with sagging hips: brace, then switch.
Breathing
Exhale on each kick-through.
