Front Plank Side Hop
From a high plank, hop both feet together to land beside one hand, knees tucked, then hop back to the plank and go to the other side.
How to do it
Setup
High plank on the hands, shoulders stacked over the wrists, feet together.
Steps
- Lift the hips a little and hop both feet to one side, knees tucked toward that elbow.
- Land softly on the balls of both feet, hands still planted.
- Hop back to the plank, then to the other side.
Common mistakes
Shoulders drifting behind the wrists: keep them stacked over the hands. Landing hard on the feet: land soft and quiet on the balls of the feet. Hips sagging on the way back to the plank: brace so the body returns in one line.
Breathing
Exhale on each hop; steady rhythm.
