Machine One-Arm Low Row (Plate-Loaded)

The low row on a plate-loaded machine done one arm at a time; each side pulls its own lever toward the waist.

How to do it

Setup

Seated with the chest on the pad, feet braced, one hand on its low handle, arm long.

Steps

  1. Row the handle toward the waist, elbow close to the body.
  2. Squeeze at the hip line without turning the chest.
  3. Return long; switch arms after the set.

Common mistakes

Twisting toward the working side: chest square on the pad. Pulling high toward the chest: the low line aims at the waist. More reps with the strong arm: match the count.

Breathing

Exhale on the row, inhale returning.
