Landmine Resistance Band One-Arm Shoulder Press

The landmine press with one hand and a band looped from the bar's sleeve down under the feet; the band pulls harder as the arm straightens.

How to do it

Setup

Staggered stance facing the bar, its end at one shoulder in one hand, a band looped from the sleeve under the feet.

Steps

  1. Press the bar end up and forward along its arc until the arm is straight.
  2. Keep the hips square as the band tightens.
  3. Lower to the shoulder under control; switch arms after the set.

Common mistakes

Band slipping from under the feet: stand on it with the full foot before each set. Twisting toward the working side: the free side stays forward; square hips. Rushing the top against the band: lock out, then return slowly.

Breathing

Exhale pressing, inhale returning.
