Landmine Kneeling One-Arm Shoulder Press
The one-arm landmine press kneeling tall on both knees; the bar's arc runs up and forward, and with no stance to lean on, the trunk holds still by itself.
How to do it
Setup
Kneeling tall facing the landmine, hips over the knees, the bar's end at one shoulder, glutes tight.
Steps
- Press the bar's end up and forward until the arm is straight.
- Reach a little further at the top, the torso still upright.
- Lower to the shoulder; finish the set, then switch arms.
Common mistakes
Sitting back onto the heels: hips stay over the knees. Twisting the torso after the bar: square shoulders, the arm alone travels. Bar's end starting too far from the shoulder: rest it on the front of the shoulder before each rep.
Breathing
Exhale pressing, inhale returning.
