Kettlebell Seesaw Press
Two kettlebells pressed in turn so that one rises as the other lowers; the trunk resists a constant pull from side to side.
How to do it
Setup
Standing, a kettlebell racked at each shoulder, one bell pressed overhead to start.
Steps
- Lower the top bell as you press the other up.
- Let the two bells pass each other at head height.
- Keep the hips and shoulders square through every switch.
Common mistakes
Swaying away from the rising bell: stay square; the trunk holds still. One bell rushing ahead: both move at one speed. Dropping the lowering bell into the rack: it comes down as slowly as the other goes up.
Breathing
Steady throughout; never held.
