Kneeling Plank Tap Shoulder
The shoulder-tap plank from the knees: a shorter lever, so the hips are easier to keep still while one hand taps the opposite shoulder.
How to do it
Setup
Hands under the shoulders, knees down behind the hips, body straight from head to knees.
Steps
- Bring one hand across to the OPPOSITE shoulder.
- Hold the hips still as the hand leaves the floor.
- Set it down and tap with the other hand.
Common mistakes
Hips sitting back toward the heels: push them forward into line. Upper body swaying with each tap: wider knees, slower taps. Hand landing ahead of the shoulder: set it back under.
Breathing
Exhale on each tap.
