Incline Jack Plank

An incline plank on a box with the feet together, the hands hopping wide and back in on its top; the raised hands take load off the shoulders.

How to do it

Setup

Hands on a box under the shoulders, arms straight, feet together on the floor, body one line.

Steps

  1. Hop both hands apart, wider than the shoulders.
  2. Hop them back in under the shoulders.
  3. Hold the body straight from the box to the heels.

Common mistakes

Hips lifting with each hop: brace so only the arms move. Feet shuffling apart: keep them together the whole set. Heavy hands: quiet, springy contacts.

Breathing

Fast steady rhythm.
