Kneeling Band Pulldown, illustrated

How to do it

Setup

Kneel under the anchored band, torso tall, arms long overhead.

Steps

  1. Pull the ends down to the chest.
  2. Elbows drive down along the ribs.
  3. Return long overhead with control.

Common mistakes

Hips sitting back to help: kneeling exists to STOP that; stay tall. Band anchor too low: the pull should come from overhead. Speed over squeeze: pause at the chest.

Breathing

Exhale on the pull, inhale returning.
