Kettlebell Wrist Curl

The seated palms-up wrist curl with a kettlebell in each hand, held by the handle past the knees.

How to do it

Setup

Seated on a bench, forearms on the thighs, a kettlebell handle in each palm, bells hanging below.

Steps

  1. Let the kettlebells hang from the finger joints.
  2. Grip and curl the bells up with the wrists.
  3. Lower without letting the bells swing.

Common mistakes

Bells swinging into the shins: slow down; they should hang still. Forearms leaving the thighs: keep them down. Rolling so far the handle slips: stop at the finger joints.

Breathing

Exhale on the curl, inhale lowering.
