Kettlebell Front Raise

A kettlebell in each hand, bells hanging under the handles; the offset weight tries to tip the wrists.

How to do it

Setup

Stand tall, a bell in each hand at the thighs, handles overhand.

Steps

  1. Raise both kettlebells with straight arms to shoulder height.
  2. Keep the wrists straight so the bells hang still.
  3. Lower the kettlebells slowly to the thighs.

Common mistakes

Bells swinging under the handles: slow the lift, wrists locked. Wrists bending under the load: straight wrists, lighter bells. Leaning back at the top: ribs down.

Breathing

Exhale on the raise, inhale lowering.
