Kettlebell Double Windmill
The kettlebell windmill with a second bell hanging in the low hand: one bell stays locked out overhead while the other travels down toward the floor.
How to do it
Setup
One bell locked out overhead, the other hanging in the opposite hand, feet turned away from the top bell.
Steps
- Push the hips toward the top bell and hinge sideways.
- Lower the bottom bell along the free leg toward the floor, eyes on the top bell.
- Stand back up with the top arm vertical the whole way.
Common mistakes
Top bell drifting forward or back: keep the arm vertical and the eyes on it. Bottom bell pulling you into a squat: the hips shift sideways and hinge. Taking the double before the single is solid: master one bell first.
Breathing
Inhale hinging down, exhale rising.
