High Knee Lunge on BOSU Ball
A lunge with the front foot on a BOSU dome, then stand up on it driving the back knee high; the soft dome makes the knee drive a balance test.
How to do it
Setup
Front foot in the middle of a BOSU dome, back knee near the floor in a lunge.
Steps
- Drive up through the foot on the dome.
- Bring the back knee up to hip height and pause.
- Step back down into the lunge under control; switch legs after the set.
Common mistakes
Front knee wobbling inward on the dome: keep it over the toes. Back knee slamming the floor: stop just above it. Rushing the knee drive: pause and own the balance.
Breathing
Exhale driving up, inhale lunging down.
