Hands Clasped Circular Toe Touch
The circular toe touch with the fingers laced overhead: the joined hands lead the fold to the feet and the circle back up the side.
How to do it
Setup
Standing, feet hip-width, knees soft, fingers laced overhead with the arms straight.
Steps
- Fold forward and take the joined hands down to the toes.
- Carry them across the feet and rise up one side.
- Circle the hands over the top, then go the other way after the set.
Common mistakes
Grip slipping apart on the way round: keep the fingers laced so the arms move as one. Knees stiff at the bottom: keep them soft for the lower back. Hurrying up out of the fold: rise through the side slowly.
Breathing
Exhale folding down, inhale circling up.
