Arms Apart Circular Toe Touch
The toe touch as a circle: down the front to the toes, across the feet, and up the side to the arms overhead.
How to do it
Setup
Standing, feet hip-width, knees soft, arms straight overhead and shoulder-width apart.
Steps
- Fold down the front to the toes, arms long.
- Sweep the hands across the feet to one side.
- Rise up that side and circle the arms over the top.
- Finish the set, then circle the other way.
Common mistakes
Snapping up out of the fold: rise through the side slowly. Knees locked at the bottom: keep them soft for the lower back. Circle shrinking into a nod: take the arms all the way down and all the way up.
Breathing
Exhale folding down, inhale circling up.
