Dumbbell Incline One-Arm Press on Stability Ball

The incline one-arm dumbbell press lying back on a ball, hips low; one bell loads one side, and the trunk holds the body square.

How to do it

Setup

Upper back on the ball, hips below the shoulders, one bell at the shoulder.

Steps

  1. Push the bell up and slightly in until the arm is straight.
  2. Keep the free shoulder heavy on the ball.
  3. Lower it to the shoulder; the other arm takes the next set.

Common mistakes

Hips sinking toward the floor: keep the incline set. Twisting toward the bell: square chest. Pressing toward the face: the bell finishes over the upper chest.

Breathing
