Control Balance
From the plow, legs overhead and the hands holding one foot, the other leg lifts straight up to the ceiling and the legs switch; the balance on the shoulders is the work.
How to do it
Setup
Rolled back onto the shoulder blades in the plow, legs overhead, hands holding one foot or ankle.
Steps
- Lift the free leg straight up toward the ceiling.
- Switch legs with control, the hands catching the other foot.
- Keep the hips stacked over the shoulders, then roll down slowly after the set.
Common mistakes
Rolling onto the neck: the weight stays on the shoulder blades; never turn the head. Kicking the leg up: lift it slowly. Hips drifting back down: keep them stacked over the shoulders.
Breathing
Steady with the rhythm.
