Chest-Supported Rear Delt Fly, illustrated

How to do it

Setup

Face down on an incline bench, bells hanging, elbows soft.

Steps

  1. Raise the bells out to the sides to shoulder line.
  2. Keep the soft angle frozen.
  3. Lower long without the chest lifting.

Common mistakes

Chest popping off the pad: the support removes cheating; let it. Swinging the bells: dead hang starts. Heavy bells: rear delts are small; light and strict.

Breathing

Exhale opening the arms, inhale lowering.
