How to do it

Setup

Face the stack, grab the attachment, elbows pinned to the sides; slight forward lean, core set.

Steps

  1. Extend the arms fully down.
  2. Squeeze the triceps for a beat at the bottom.
  3. Let the attachment rise slowly to just past 90° elbows.

Common mistakes

Elbows drifting forward: pin them to the ribs; only the forearms move. Leaning on the cable with body weight: stand taller, lighten the stack. Half lockouts: full extension is where the triceps finish.

Breathing

Exhale pressing down, inhale on the return.
