Cable Side Plank Row
A one-arm cable row from a forearm side plank, the top hand pulling a handle from the pulley while the hips stay lifted.
How to do it
Setup
Side plank on the forearm facing a cable pulley, the top hand holding its handle with the arm long.
Steps
- Row the handle to the lower ribs, the elbow driving back.
- Keep the hips lifted and stacked as you pull.
- Let the arm reach long again under control.
Common mistakes
Hips sagging toward the floor: the plank holds through every rep. Twisting the chest toward the stack: the arm and the blade row, not a turn. Stack too heavy to hold the plank: go lighter; the plank fails first.
Breathing
Exhale on the row, inhale returning.
