Cable Seated Foot Inversion
The foot turned inward against a low cable, seated side-on to the stack with the cuff around the forefoot.
How to do it
Setup
Seated side-on to a low pulley, knees bent, the cuff on the near foot, hands on that knee.
Steps
- Turn the sole inward against the cable, heel in place.
- Hold the turned position for a beat.
- Let the cable draw the foot back out slowly.
Common mistakes
Rolling the knee in to turn the foot: the knee stays still. Heel sliding across the floor: it stays put as the pivot. Too heavy a stack: small muscles, light load, full range.
Breathing
Exhale turning in, inhale returning.
