Band Upright Row (Under Two Feet)
The upright row against a band stood on with both feet; the pull grows as the hands rise, so the top is the hardest part.
How to do it
Setup
Standing on the band with both feet hip-width, the ends held in front of the thighs, overhand grip.
Steps
- Pull the hands up along the body toward the lower chest, elbows leading and high.
- Stop with the elbows at shoulder height.
- Lower slowly against the band.
Common mistakes
Elbows lifting above the shoulders: stop at shoulder height; the joint pinches past it. Hands leading the elbows: the elbows lead, the hands follow. Leaning back to finish: stay tall, a lighter band.
Breathing
Exhale on the pull, inhale lowering.
