Band One-Arm Single-Leg Split Squat

The rear-foot-elevated split squat with the band held in ONE hand; the trunk resists the one-sided pull.

How to do it

Setup

Rear foot on a box, band under the front foot, its end in one hand.

Steps

  1. Lower the back knee straight toward the floor.
  2. Keep the shoulders level against the band.
  3. Drive up, then switch sides after the set.

Common mistakes

Tipping toward the band: shoulders level, a lighter band. Front foot too close to the box: step it further out. Pushing off the back foot: it only balances; the front leg lifts.

Breathing

Inhale down, exhale driving up.
