Band Kneeling Single-Arm Horizontal Row

The all-fours single-arm row with a band anchored low in front; the band pulls hardest as the hand reaches the ribs.

How to do it

Setup

On all fours facing a band anchored low in front, one hand under the shoulder, the band's end in the other, arm long.

Steps

  1. Row the band to the ribs, elbow along the body.
  2. Hold the finish for a beat with the hips level.
  3. Let the band draw the arm long again slowly; switch arms after the set.

Common mistakes

Hips rotating toward the working arm: brace and keep them square. Band snapping the arm forward: resist it on the way back. Head dropping: neck long, eyes down.

Breathing

Exhale on the row, inhale on the reach.
