Band Bent-Over Row, illustrated

How to do it

Setup

Stand on the band, hinge to ~45°, handles hanging under the shoulders.

Steps

  1. Row the handles to the lower ribs.
  2. Squeeze the blades at the top.
  3. Resist the band on the way down.

Common mistakes

Letting the band snap the arms down: the negative is loaded; use it. Standing out of the hinge: the angle holds. Band too light for rows: double it or widen the stance.

Breathing

Exhale on the row, inhale lowering.
