Single-Arm Kettlebell Row, illustrated

How to do it

Setup

Hinge with one hand braced on a bench or knee, bell hanging in the other.

Steps

  1. Row the bell to the hip, elbow along the body.
  2. Squeeze the blade without rotating the torso.
  3. Lower long with control.

Common mistakes

Torso twisting for height: shoulders parallel to the floor. Bell drifting forward: pull to the HIP. Yanking the handle: the back rows, not the arm.

Breathing

Exhale on the row, inhale lowering.
