How to do it

Setup

Plank with a hand on each bell, feet wide for a stable base.

Steps

  1. Row one bell to the hip, hips staying square.
  2. Place it back silently.
  3. Alternate sides without shifting the plank.

Common mistakes

Hips rotating with the row: the anti-rotation IS the exercise; narrower row, wider feet. Sagging the plank: brace before each row. Wobbly bells: heavier flat-bottomed bells sit steadier.

Breathing

Exhale on the row, inhale placing back.
