Alternate Straight Leg Raise (On BOSU Ball)

Seated on a BOSU and leaning back on the hands, raise one straight leg high while the other hovers low, then switch.

How to do it

Setup

Seated on the dome, torso leaning back, hands on the floor behind, legs long and off the floor.

Steps

  1. Raise one straight leg as high as the back allows.
  2. Lower it as the other leg rises.
  3. Keep switching with the torso still on the dome.

Common mistakes

Rocking on the dome with each switch: brace so only the legs move. Feet touching the floor: both legs hover the whole set. Leaning back onto the elbows: arms straight, chest up.

Breathing

Exhale on each switch, steady in between.
