Band Alternating V-Up

The band V-up done one leg at a time: the chest rises to meet one straight leg against the band, then the other.

How to do it

Setup

On the back, arms overhead, a band from a low anchor beyond the feet looped round both ankles, legs long.

Steps

  1. Raise one straight leg against the band as the chest curls up to meet it.
  2. Lower both slowly back to the floor.
  3. Repeat with the other leg, alternating each rep.

Common mistakes

Both legs lifting together: one leg per rep; the other stays down. Band snapping the leg back: lower it slowly. Arms flinging to launch the curl: they reach with the chest.

Breathing
