Weighted Seated Reverse Wrist Curl

The palms-down wrist curl with both hands on one plate, forearms on the thighs; one shared plate keeps the wrists moving together.

How to do it

Setup

Seated, both forearms on the thighs, palms down, one plate held by its rim in both hands.

Steps

  1. Lower the plate by dropping the knuckles.
  2. Lift it with the backs of both hands.
  3. Hold the forearms down for the whole set.

Common mistakes

One hand doing the work: both wrists lift the plate evenly. Elbows lifting: the forearms stay on the thighs. Plate slipping in the grip: use one you can hold firmly.

Breathing

Exhale lifting, inhale lowering.
