Weighted Seated One-Arm Reverse Wrist Curl
The palms-down wrist curl one arm at a time with a small plate gripped by its rim, the forearm on the thigh.
How to do it
Setup
Seated, one forearm across the thigh, palm down, a light plate pinched by its edge past the knee.
Steps
- Allow the knuckles to drop with the plate.
- Raise the plate with the back of the hand, forearm still.
- Do every rep on one side, then switch.
Common mistakes
A plate too big to pinch safely: go smaller; the grip must not slip. Elbow creeping up: keep the forearm on the thigh. Twisting the plate toward the thumb: lift it straight.
Breathing
Exhale lifting, inhale lowering.
