V-Sit Toe Tap

Balanced in a V-sit with the arms reaching forward, lower one foot at a time to tap the floor and lift it back.

How to do it

Setup

Balanced on the sit bones, legs straight and raised, torso leaned back, arms straight forward beside the legs.

Steps

  1. Bend one knee and lower that foot to tap the floor.
  2. Straighten it back up beside the other leg.
  3. Tap with the other foot, the torso staying still.

Common mistakes

Rounding the back as you tire: lift the chest and hold the lean. Resting the foot on the floor: tap and lift at once. Rocking back with each tap: keep the balance on the sit bones.

Breathing

Steady throughout; never held.
