TRX Triceps Kickback

Facing the anchor and leaning back on the TRX handles, the elbows straighten to push the handles down past the hips, bringing the body upright.

How to do it

Setup

Facing the anchor, handles at the chest, elbows bent by the ribs, body leaning back in one line.

Steps

  1. Straighten the elbows to press the handles down past the hips.
  2. Let the body rise to upright as the arms extend.
  3. Bend the elbows to lean back to the start under control.

Common mistakes

Hips folding as you rise: the body moves as one line. The elbows flaring away from the ribs: keep them in. Too steep a lean for your strength: step the feet so the body stands more upright.

Breathing

Exhale pressing, inhale returning.
