TRX Standing Ab Rollout

Standing and leaning into the TRX handles, let the straight arms rise overhead as the body falls forward in one line, then pull it back up with the abs.

How to do it

Setup

Facing away from the anchor, handles in both hands at chest height on straight arms, body leaning forward in one line from the heels to the head.

Steps

  1. Raise the straight arms overhead as the body tips forward.
  2. Stop while the hips are still in line with the shoulders.
  3. Pull the arms back down to bring the body upright.

Common mistakes

Hips sagging at the far point: stop the reach sooner and brace. Elbows bending to catch the fall: the arms stay long while the abs hold the line. Leaning too far to control: walk the feet forward, away from the anchor, to stand more upright.

Breathing

Inhale rolling out, exhale pulling back.
