Lying Floor Negative Half Dragon Flag
The floor dragon flag lowered slowly from the shoulder blades with the hips allowed a slight bend, a shorter lever than the rigid line.
How to do it
Setup
Hands locked on a wall bar behind the head, the body lifted onto the upper back, legs straight toward the ceiling.
Steps
- Lower the body slowly, the legs straight and the hips only slightly bent.
- Keep the weight on the upper back, not the neck.
- Just above the floor, bend the knees and roll back up to start again.
Common mistakes
Letting the bend grow as you tire: keep the hip angle you started with. Neck taking the load: press the upper back and the hands into the support. Hurrying the lowering: count a slow descent every rep.
Breathing
Steady exhale through the descent.
