TRX Chest Press

Face away leaning into the handles; bend the elbows to lower the chest, then press back up – an incline push-up on straps.

How to do it

Setup

Face away from the anchor, handles at chest height, arms straight; body one rigid line, the steeper the lean, the harder.

Steps

  1. Bend the elbows and lower the chest between the handles.
  2. Keep the elbows about 45° from the body.
  3. Press back up to straight arms without losing the line.

Common mistakes

Hips sagging: brace the abs, squeeze the glutes. Wobbling handles: slow the press until the straps steady. Shoulders shrugging up: keep the blades set down.

Breathing

Inhale as you lower, exhale on the press.
