Staggered Leg Glute Bridge
A floor glute bridge with one foot set a step farther out than the other; the near leg does most of the work, a halfway house to the single-leg bridge.
How to do it
Setup
On your back, one heel under the knee, the other foot a step farther out, arms at the sides.
Steps
- Drive mostly through the near heel to lift the hips.
- Keep the pelvis level even though the feet are not.
- Lower slowly; swap the stagger on the next set.
Common mistakes
Pushing evenly with both feet: the far one only balances. Hips rotating toward the far leg: square them to the ceiling. Always staggering the same side: alternate sets.
Breathing
Exhale driving up, inhale lowering.
