Sled One-Leg Hack Squat

The hack squat on one leg: back on the sled's pad, one foot mid-platform and the other off it, so each leg moves the sled alone.

How to do it

Setup

Back and hips on the pad, shoulders under the rests, one foot mid-platform, the other off it.

Steps

  1. Release the safeties and squat as deep as the hips stay on the pad.
  2. Keep the knee tracking over the middle of the foot.
  3. Press the sled back up; lock the safeties before switching legs.

Common mistakes

Changing legs with the sled unlocked: set the safeties, then switch. Hips peeling off the pad at depth: shorten the range. Knee drifting inward on the press: track it over the toes.

Breathing

Inhale down, exhale pressing.
