Sled One-Leg Calf Press on Leg Press

The leg press calf raise on one leg in the 45° sled, the ball of one foot on the platform's lower edge, the other foot off.

How to do it

Setup

Back on the seat, one leg straight on the platform's lower edge, the free leg bent aside.

Steps

  1. Release the safeties with the working leg straight.
  2. Push the platform away with the ankle, then pause.
  3. Let the heel drop past the edge; lock up to switch legs.

Common mistakes

Knee bending under the sled: straight leg, or the load is too heavy for one calf. Heel resting on the platform: let it hang so the ankle can travel. Hips lifting off the seat: keep them on the pad.

Breathing

Exhale pressing, inhale returning.
