Seated Single-Leg Foot Circle
The seated foot circle one foot at a time, so the other rests and the attention stays on one ankle.
How to do it
Setup
Sitting tall on the floor, hands behind the hips, both legs long.
Steps
- Circle one foot slowly through its widest range.
- Keep that knee pointing up; the turn stays in the ankle.
- Go the other way for the second half, then switch feet.
Common mistakes
Knee rolling with the foot: the thigh stays still. Toes clawing: keep them relaxed and let the ankle lead. Rushing the circle: one slow circle beats three quick ones.
Breathing
Steady throughout; never held.
