Resistance Band Standing Back Achilles Stretch

A flat band anchored behind loops the front ankle; drive that knee forward over the toes with the heel down as the band pulls the ankle back.

How to do it

Setup

Band anchored low behind you, looped round the front of the forward ankle; staggered stance, both heels down.

Steps

  1. Step forward until the band is taut.
  2. Drive the front knee forward over the toes, heel planted.
  3. Ease back and repeat in a slow rhythm, then switch legs.

Common mistakes

Heel lifting as the knee goes forward: shorten the range until it stays down. Band riding up onto the shin: keep it low, right on the front of the ankle. Knee caving inward: aim it over the middle toes.

Breathing

Steady with the rhythm.
