Resistance Band Upper Body Lying Air Bike
The bicycle crunch with a band anchored behind the head and held in the hands, so each twist of the upper body pulls against it.
How to do it
Setup
On your back, head toward a low anchor, the band held beside the head, legs lifted with the knees bent.
Steps
- Twist one elbow to meet the opposite knee, the other leg reaching long.
- Keep the hands fixed beside the head against the band.
- Pedal to the other side under control.
Common mistakes
Hands letting the band pull them back: fix them at the head. Pedaling fast and short: slow, full turns. Lower back arching as a leg straightens: keep it pressed down.
Breathing
Exhale on each rotation, inhale switching.
