Resistance Band Seated Biceps Curl
A seated curl against a looped band passed under the seat; sitting takes the legs and the hips out of the lift.
How to do it
Setup
Seated tall on a bench, the looped band under the seat, an end of the loop in each hand at the thighs, palms up.
Steps
- Curl both hands to the shoulders against the band.
- Pause at the top with the elbows still at the sides.
- Lower slowly until the arms are straight again.
Common mistakes
A slack band at the bottom: loop it shorter so it pulls from the first inch. Leaning back on the bench to finish: sit tall, the band is the load. Loop slipping from under the seat: pass it around a fixed part of the bench.
Breathing
Exhale on the curl, inhale lowering.
