Power Sled Rear Batwing

Facing the sled, the strap handles held at the waist with the elbows drawn back, walk backward and drag it; the legs do the dragging, the arms only hold.

How to do it

Setup

Facing the sled, the straps taut, handles at the waist, elbows drawn back, knees bent, torso tall and leaning back a little.

Steps

  1. Walk backward with short steps, pushing through the balls of the feet.
  2. Keep the handles at the waist and the elbows back the whole way.
  3. Drive with the legs; the arms only hold the position.

Common mistakes

Pulling the sled with the arms: the legs drag it; the arms only hold. Standing up straight-legged: keep the knees bent so each step drives. Looking back over the shoulder every step: check the path before you start.

Breathing

Steady with the steps.
