Kettlebell Double Jerk
The jerk with a bell in each hand, caught overhead in a split: dip, drive with the legs, split the feet and lock both arms out.
How to do it
Setup
Two bells racked at the shoulders, elbows on the ribs, feet hip-width.
Steps
- Dip at the knees with the torso upright, then drive the bells up with the legs.
- Split the feet front and back and catch both bells on straight arms.
- Step the feet back together under the locked-out bells, then lower them to the rack.
Common mistakes
Pressing the bells up with the arms: the leg drive launches them; the arms only lock out. Front knee caving or the back heel down in the split: front shin vertical, back heel up. Bells drifting forward overhead: finish with them stacked over the shoulders and hips.
Breathing
Exhale on the drive, inhale as you reset the rack.
